5 Decades of Growth and Change

Five Decades of Growth and Change is the history of the ministries of the Baptist General Conference and Bethel University from 1952 to 2002. It also contains a chapter describing the first 100 years of the Conference from 1852 to 1952 so it serves as a one volume history of the 150 years of Conference ministry. It tells the stories of each of our districts home missions world missions cultural ministries and our educational programs. It is an invaluable resource for church and personal libraries. In five decades the conference has tripled in number of churches and quadrupled in terms of people served. This is a story of the tremendous blessing of God through the ministries of the BGC.
