What is the study about?

Come & Follow is a study about encountering Jesus, walking through Mark's Gospel. Each week we'll cover two chapters from Mark. The workbook offers five studies to complete each week during an individual devotional time (allow 30 minutes), prior to the weekly group meeting time.

How long is the study?

Come & Follow should take most groups eight weeks to complete. We recommend an introduction week for your group to get to know each other and receive their workbooks, so plan for a total number of nine weeks of meetings. The weekly session should take about 60 minutes, but you can allow 90 minutes if you want more time for fellowship or prayer.

When should we begin the study?

You can begin the study at any point during the year. We recommend that you look for a nine-week window on your calendar to avoid breaking up the study with holidays or peak vacation times. This will help to keep your group coming back each week. Come & Follow  will work well as a Lenten season devotional leading up to Easter. (For 2011 that would mean starting your group the week of February 20, with the introduction, and ending the week of Palm Sunday, April 17.)

How much are the workbooks?

Workbooks are priced at only $12.99 each. Quantity discounts are available for orders of 25 or more workbooks at only $11.99 each when purchased together.

How do I get the video segments?

Video segments can be watched online or downloaded and burned to your own DVD. If you don't have the capability to watch it online with your group or burn your own DVD, a DVD including all the video segments may be ordered for $25 each.

How long is each video segment?

Each video segment is 6-8 minutes long.

How many people can be in a study group?

Groups of 8-10 people are ideal to allow for maximum interaction. As your group grows, consider creating additional groups or break into smaller groups for discussion time.

Where can I find more information about how to lead a group?

We've developed a Group Leader's Guide and have it available for free by download. In it you'll find many helpful hints to help you get started.
