RIO Elementary Basics Launch Kit Spring 2012

The goal of every Rio lesson is to provide a path that takes leaders and children on a journey through discovering God's Word and hearing His voice. It is the Holy Spirit who ultimately reveals His truth to each child in a way that is unique to each individual. Therefore, the backbone of every lesson is the Scripture passage. The Rio Basics kit contains the resources needed to lead a class of ten students. 1 Leader's Guide The Rio Leader's guide walks the leader through the lesson flow with clearly marked sections and an emphasis on enabling the leader to teach from the overflow of their own heart. 10 Activity Pages (2 sets of 5) Give kids a way to go deeper into the lesson and God's Word through fun and contemplative activities. The Big Bible Panorama An engaging large-scale bible timeline. Each week your kids will interact and learn the context from the passage of the week and see how everything fits into God's grand story. StoryPoints for each lesson will be placed on The Big Bible Panorama to further show how the lesson fits on the timeline. More to the Story Lets you go deeper into the Bible with historical, archaeological, cultural, and geographic information. BreakOUT Cards Provide a quick reference to the lesson's BreakOUT activities. Colorful posters, maps, memory verses, role-plays, game cards, and more. 1 DVD of Reproducibles, videos and audio pieces. In the Rio Basics kit you will also find a special code that will grant you access to the Rio Essentials portion of the Rio Website that will include even more resources for your ministry—including: forums, informational articles, and a customizable family newsletter for you to send out to the parents in your church.
